The 8 days Uganda Birding Safari has been ideally planned to offer you an extra ordinary Birding safari in some of the finest birding destinations in Uganda. You will also boat cruises on Lake Bunyonyi and on the Kazinga channel, see more wonderful flora and fauna, experience the stunning scenery and beauty of Uganda.
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our tour guide and driver will receive you and welcome you to Uganda ahead of your birding safari. He will transfer you to the hotel where you will spend the night. Relax at the hotel and retire for the night when you are ready.

Start your day with breakfast at the lodge. Your first birding Ugandan Site will be Mabamba swamp which is a vast waterlogged area that has a wide array of bird species including the elusive shoebill stork. Mabamba swamp is located on the outer showers of Lake Victoria in Entebbe, this is the largest fresh water lake in Africa. You will do the birding as you interact with the local people in this area who attach great importance to the swamp since they get papyrus form it to make crafts, they get fish from the swamp and also water for domestic use. After this activity you will have lunch and then transfer to Lake Mburo National Park in the Western part of Uganda. Check in the lodge on arrival for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you will go for a boat cruise on Lake Mburo which guarantees you amazing views of flora and fauna in the park alongside wildlife such as antelopes, hippos, crocodiles and different bird species like herons, African fish eagle, king fishers and others. After the boat cruise you will return to the lodge for lunch then transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Lake Bunyonyi is located in South Western Uganda and is well known for many small birds. Reach Lake Bunyonyi and check in the lodge for the night.

Have breakfast at the lodge, then go out for a boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi for birding. Get ready for a great experience as you enjoy a cruise on one of Africa’s biggest lakes as you explore the different Islands on the lake as well as view the different bird species. Return to the lodge for lunch and check out as you prepare to transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. this is Uganda’s most popular game park with a big number of wildlife compared to other parks. Check in the lodge for the night on arrival.

On this day after breakfast, you will go for a game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park to explore the park’s beautiful features. This park is very rich with wildlife, birds, nature, lakes and others. It has over 600 bird species which will be seen during the game drive and also on the boat cruise. After the game drive and bird watching, return to the lodge for lunch and some rest. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise on the

This day will start with an early breakfast at the lodge before you transfer to Kibale Forest National Park. Birding is the second most done activity in this park after chimp tracking. The park boasts of over 350 bird species. You will do bird watching in the Kibale forest and also get a chance to see other habitants of this forest. In the afternoon after enjoying your lunch, you will view more birds during a nature walk in the
Bigodi swamp. Dine at the lodge where you will spend the night.

This morning, after breakfast you will embark on your return journey to Entebbe through Fort Portal, the city well known as the tourist city. You will have a stopover for lunch and then continue to Entebbe. On arrival, you will check in the hotel for dinner and overnight.
